The automatic repair station Sirius B301 is intended for carrying out repair and mounting of electronic components on printed-circuit boards.

The repair station used for the following operations:

• dismantle of electronic components

• contactless removal of solder paste particles

• assembling of electronic components

• BGA reballing

• solder paste printing on the component surface

Features of the repair station

• repair station is equipped with a mobile repair head. That gives an economy of the space in compare with a moveable table;

• the repair head moves over a table in two directions by means of the electrical drive;

• depending on needs of the client various equipment can be installed on a repair head. In the minimum configuration convection heating system is installed;

• the top convection heating system is combined with the vacuum gripper of components;

• high power of heating system allows to achieve high temperature very fast and also to carry out high-quality component mounting regardless of it's thermal capacity;

• the built-in mixing system of hot and cold air allows to keep preset temperature very precisely, and also to provide the high cooling speed;

• heating system is equipped with the built-in thermocouple for temperature control. Additionally it is possible to connect four more thermocouples which are located directly on the component case. This option gives possibility to see soldering temperature with high accuracy;

• there is of nozzles selection possibility according to any types of components, special nozzles production by the client request is also available;

• gripper rotation system is equipped with the precision electrical drive;

• up/down gripper system are also equipped with electrical drive;

• PCB and component positioning system is equipped with high resolution videocameras. Those cameras can provide the detailed image of the most smallest elements;

• for supervision over all repair processes, the repair station is equipped with the color videocamera. The camera is equipped with the special rotary device which provides the all-round view of a mounting place;

The repair station can be equipped with following options:

• adaptor for mounting of flip-chip components. This option allows to apply solder paste on component's leads directly , and execute component's mounting immediately;

• adaptor for stencil printing on the PCB. It allows to apply solder paste via stencil process for standard component on the PCB or for PoP assembling

Control of the repair station is executed by the means of a build-in microcontroller. The user interface is operating via HR touchscreen monitor. The software provides completely automatic and fast control on all operations.

For easy-to repair we have clips for every type of components. If a customer needs off-standard components, we can produce off-standard clips too.

The position of the vacuum gripper and its movement toward the work space is conducted by the micrometric electric motor drive. Such equipment serves to simplify of the PCBs components insertion for the machine-man.

The powerful convective upper heating system heats the work space of the service station BGA and mixes hot and cold air. It helps to set the optional temperature rate and to support high cooling rate according to the heating capacity of the PCB’s component. As a result, the joining-up will be of better quality.

Service soldering station has automatic temperature control. It’s a thermal converter mounted in the heating module. If necessary 4 additional thermal converters can be connected for PCBs and components temperature control.

For easy-to repair we have clips for every type of components. If a customer needs off-standard components, we can produce off-standard clips too.

In the process of the placement part on the PCB, the color digital cameras are used and zoom in good quality. In order to control the process of repairing there is a turnround macro camera in the service station.

The powerful convective upper heating system heats the work space of the service station BGA and mixes hot and cold air. It helps to set the optional temperature rate and to support high cooling rate according to the heating capacity of the PCB’s component. As a result, the joining-up will be of better quality.

Service soldering station has automatic temperature control. It’s a thermal converter mounted in the heating module. If necessary 4 additional thermal converters can be connected for PCBs and components temperature control.

For easy-to repair we have clips for every type of components. If a customer needs off-standard components, we can produce off-standard clips too.

In the process of the placement part on the PCB, the color digital cameras are used and zoom in good quality. In order to control the process of repairing there is a turnround macro camera in the service station.

Service station BGA is controlled with the help of the software on the PC, which computerizes jobs managing. All the data is one the high-resolution visual display, ensuring easy-to-use work.

The automatic repair station Sirius B301 is intended for carrying out repair and mounting of electronic components on printed-circuit boards.

The repair station used for the following operations:

• dismantle of electronic components

• contactless removal of solder paste particles

• assembling of electronic components

• BGA reballing

• solder paste printing on the component surface

Features of the repair station

• repair station is equipped with a mobile repair head. That gives an economy of the space in compare with a moveable table;

• the repair head moves over a table in two directions by means of the electrical drive;

• depending on needs of the client various equipment can be installed on a repair head. In the minimum configuration convection heating system is installed;

• the top convection heating system is combined with the vacuum gripper of components;

• high power of heating system allows to achieve high temperature very fast and also to carry out high-quality component mounting regardless of it's thermal capacity;

• the built-in mixing system of hot and cold air allows to keep preset temperature very precisely, and also to provide the high cooling speed;

• heating system is equipped with the built-in thermocouple for temperature control. Additionally it is possible to connect four more thermocouples which are located directly on the component case. This option gives possibility to see soldering temperature with high accuracy;

• there is of nozzles selection possibility according to any types of components, special nozzles production by the client request is also available;

• gripper rotation system is equipped with the precision electrical drive;

• up/down gripper system are also equipped with electrical drive;

• PCB and component positioning system is equipped with high resolution videocameras. Those cameras can provide the detailed image of the most smallest elements;

• for supervision over all repair processes, the repair station is equipped with the color videocamera. The camera is equipped with the special rotary device which provides the all-round view of a mounting place;

The repair station can be equipped with following options:

• adaptor for mounting of flip-chip components. This option allows to apply solder paste on component's leads directly , and execute component's mounting immediately;

• adaptor for stencil printing on the PCB. It allows to apply solder paste via stencil process for standard component on the PCB or for PoP assembling

Control of the repair station is executed by the means of a build-in microcontroller. The user interface is operating via HR touchscreen monitor. The software provides completely automatic and fast control on all operations.

dozator.pngThis option allows to exclude participation of the operator in the paste replenishment process. Solder paste applied automatically, with the preset portions, after demanded number of the printing cycles is finished.

reballing-bga.pngThe special device consisting of a frame and a set of individual stencils allowing to place balls in the right places, and then to melt them.

udalenie-pripoya.pngThis is device installed on a repair head and connected via the filter to the vacuum pump. The repair head equipped with the electrical drive with a servomotor which moves nozzle the preset area, melts the solder and soaks it up like the vacuum cleaner.

vost-vivoda.pngThis option allows to mount a single ball by means of a special tip, then solder melted by means of special nozzle .

traf-print.pngThe special device allowing to apply solder paste or other material directly on component leads. Printing is carried out through a stencil’s apertures. The device includes a special frame for a stencil tension, clamps and flip system for clamped component.

traf-print-plata.pngThe device consisting of a special nozzle and a microstencil for a one component. Optical system allows to place stencil precisely on the PCB surface and hold it in place. Material application through stencil is carried out by by means of the squeegee.

The software is designed as the modern animated interface based on touch data input. Each function of the repair station is displayed as the separate tab (or screen) where all operations are shown.

The positioning option serves for movement of a repair head to to operation place. This window shows the general image of a table and the PCB . Movement of a repair head is carried out automatically by means of electrical drives.

Positioning tab serves for precise positioning a component on the PCB. This tab at the same time shows images from two videocameras. One of these cameras is oriented on the PCB surface, and another one on a component's bottom. The image from the component is camera translucent that allows to see two images at the same time. Transparency dencity can be changed. Combination is carried out by overlap of two images.

The tab of dismantling serves for performance of operations for components dismantling. The repair station allows to save unlimited number of profiles. One of five last used profiles can be to load one pressing of the special button. All dismantling operations are carried out automatically. After pressing of the Start button, the heating element and gripper pickup component with necessary dismantle profile. When solder melts vacuum gripper is turned on and removes a component from the PCB.

The tab of assembing serves for performance of operations for components mounting. The profile can be edited by dragging of necessary points. The memory of repair station allows to save unlimited number of profiles. One of five last used profiles can be load by the one pressing of the special button.

Mounting process is carried out fully automatically. After pressing of the Start button vacuum gripper and heater element are working with the preset profile. After mounting process is finished heating block goes up from a component.

The tab of removal solder paste is serves for automatic starting process of contactless removal of the solder after dismantle of components. The profile can be edited by dragging of necessary points. The memory of repair station allows to save unlimited number of profiles. One of five last used profiles can be load by one pressing of the special button.

Besides temperature values, the profile contains data about component dimensions and angle of it's orientation, and also speed of solder. removing. All solder removal processes are carried out automatically by means of electrical drives. After pressing of the Start button, the heating block moves to PCB's surface and preset removal profile is turning on. At the preset time vacuum head begins the movement over a PCB, providing of solder removing. On end of operations, the heater is switched off, and the heating block moves up.

The tab a reballing serves for BGA reballing process. The profile can be edited by dragging of the necessary points. The memory of repair station allows to save unlimited number of profiles. One of five last used profiles can be load by one pressing of the special button.

Necessary reballing function is located on a desktop and starting after the Start button is pressed. After that all process is carried out automatically. Repair head moves to PCB surface, the heating block is turns on with preset profile. After process is finished the heating block moves up.
